This is definitely my kind of system (easy to use). I have photos saved to umpteen CDs as well as my harddrive and I can't find anything! This would definitely help me get organized.
This package would be a good start for my backup needs. I take thousands of photos every year and need to protect them, Not having to think about that process would certainly be a good thing.
I am sure it would help me managae and organize my photos.

I take tons of picture's for my blog and pictures of the kiddos. I have an external hard drive that is full, cause dear hubby keeps putting stuff on it so I need one for myself so he can have the old one!
My photos take up alot of room on my hard drive. With a separate drive, I would put all my photos and music on a separate drive which would leave my computer running more smoothly (I hope). In addition, this would be my backup drive, to be done weekly. Having the software to do it would keep me backing up regularly instead of the infrequent times I do it because it takes so long to copy my files to CDs. Thanks for a great contest.

I managed to recover some of the photos and I have printed most of them out, but there are some photos that I will not be able to recover. As what my husband lovingly refers to as a "scraparrazi", this would be a wonderful addition to my scrabbooking room computer to keep track of all those photos and other scrapbooking related files!
All my photos of my children are digital and trapped on an old PC whose CD-burner does not work. It would be great to back them up on something like this before they are lost forever!

With the economy tanking and my job in corporate world being less than enjoyable, I figure that the entrepreneurial world is going to ramp up. I have started a business this year providing support and resources to small businesses and right now the only backup system I have for all their files and mine is to use CDs. It's quite a chore and takes time so I don't do it as often as I should but finances are tight so I don't have the funds to get an alternative. This would be a HUGE help.

My daughter just got a digital camera for Christmas, and seems bent on taking a record number of photos! This would be great for her. (And allow me to keep usabel space on my computer for me!)

It would be great to have a place to put all of my material on so that I would be able to keep track of all of it...and I have tons of pictures to keep track of I am doing a lot of genealogy, and some pictures that are over one hundred years old.... About two years ago, my hard drive had to be wiped and unfortunately I only had about 10% of my photos backed up. I would love this product so that I would know that I could safely store 100% of my photos, even if my hard drive had to be wiped again.

I would be able to back up all of my photos that I've taken. It would be great to be able to back them up so that I will never lose them. My hard drive crashed a few months ago and I lost a lot of photos that weren't stored anywhere else...I don't want that to ever happen again so I would really love something to help me protect them!

Last year the hard drive went on my desktop and was unrepairable. I had YEARS of pictures on the drive that weren't backed-up. I was able to salvage a small percentage of the photos, but it makes me sick to think of all of the photos that I lost especially the ones of my two young children. I still haven't found/purchased a good solution to keep this from happening again. This sounds like exactly what I need!

One of the greatest things about digital photography is the ability to share your photos! I took many old family photos and scanned them into my computer for a family reunion. I made a video and gave everyone a cd with all the pictures I had used. The project was a labor of love, but it really sucked up a lot of memory! This portable back looks like just the ticket!

I'm a sweepstake junkie and that means I'm constantly running into viruses. I have lost numerous family photos due to this and if I won this giveaway I would never have to worry about loosing another photograph of my beautiful daughter.

I have boxes of pictures and am terrible about putting them in albums but worry that one broken water pipe or fire could erase every one of these memories. The portable hard drive and software would help me safeguard my photos and help me organize them as well.

I learned after the devastions of hurricanes in my area how having something like this might be your only chance to save your familys precious memorys/photos. 98% of our town was destoryed. Both of my sister's homes were under water. What they did not evacuted with floated away or was destoryed. Only the Computer cd's that were up in closet were the only picture of their children left. A device like this would fit easily into your purse & you might be able to save your memories in case of an major mishap!

This would help me out because I desperately need a portable hard drive to back up my current one. I have some photos on my computer that I want to save and don't have a portable hard drive at the moment to back them up. My brother's hard drive went recently. Fortunately he was able to save a lot from that computer because he had a portable hard drive. Should my hard drive go I want to be able to save a lot too. As as amateur photographer, I can really appreciate the value of this product. But it isn't only lifetime memories I want to save--it's also photographic records for insurance purposes.
